Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and physically fit Fencing Installer Laborer to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a strong work ethic, and are eager to learn the trade of professional fence installation. You will be responsible for assisting in the installation, repair, and maintenance of various types of fences, including wood, vinyl, chain link, and aluminum, across rural and residential settings. No prior experience is necessary; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist experienced installers in setting up and installing fencing systems.
- Dig post holes manually or using power equipment.
- Mix and pour concrete for fence posts.
- Measure, cut, and attach fence materials according to specifications.
- Load and unload materials and tools from company vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
- Perform general site cleanup and organization.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform strenuous physical labor for extended periods.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site/shop.
- Basic understanding of safety practices.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
