Job Description

Are you a master of understanding the unspoken words in online conversations? Systems Limited is seeking a Social Media Sentiment Guru to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal ‘Smart Working’ role, you will be responsible for diving deep into social media data, extracting critical insights, and translating complex sentiment into actionable strategies. You will play a crucial part in shaping our brand perception, informing marketing campaigns, and enhancing customer satisfaction by monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on public opinion and sentiment surrounding our brand and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media listening strategies to monitor brand mentions, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Utilize advanced sentiment analysis tools and methodologies to interpret qualitative data into quantifiable insights.
  • Prepare detailed reports on social media sentiment, identifying key themes, influencers, and emerging conversations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, and customer service teams to translate sentiment insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Proactively identify potential PR crises or opportunities based on real-time social media monitoring.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of social media campaigns in shifting public sentiment.
  • Stay abreast of the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices in sentiment analysis.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in social media listening and sentiment analysis.
  • Expertise in using social media analytics platforms (e.g., Brandwatch, Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Hootsuite).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and extract meaningful insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and strategic recommendations.
  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing principles and brand management.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced 'Smart Working' environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Certification in social media analytics or digital marketing.
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP) or machine learning concepts applied to sentiment analysis.
