Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and energetic Car Valet to join our busy team at our airport-affiliated facility near Rialto, CA. This role is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our fleet operations and ensuring a seamless experience for our customers. You will be responsible for moving, parking, and retrieving vehicles safely and promptly, as well as assisting with vehicle inspections and staging. This is a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires attention to detail and a commitment to teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently park and retrieve customer and fleet vehicles in designated areas.
- Conduct basic visual inspections of vehicles for damage upon arrival and departure.
- Maintain an organized and clean parking lot and vehicle staging area.
- Assist with fueling and vehicle preparation as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting with luggage when required.
- Report any vehicle maintenance needs or safety concerns to management promptly.
- Operate a variety of vehicle types, including automatics and manuals (if applicable), with care.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to operate automatic transmission vehicles; manual transmission experience is a plus.
- Excellent spatial awareness and driving skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Punctual and reliable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a valet, shuttle driver, or in a similar customer service role.
- Familiarity with airport operations or large fleet environments.
- High school diploma or GED.
