Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Barber Shop Sweeper for weekend shifts. This entry-level position is perfect for teens looking to gain their first work experience, offering flexible hours and a friendly work environment. Your primary role will be to ensure the barbershop remains spotless throughout the day, contributing to the professional and inviting ambiance our clients love. This is an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly sweep and mop the shop floor to remove hair and debris.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners as needed.
- Wipe down and sanitize barber chairs, countertops, and other surfaces.
- Clean and maintain the waiting area, including organizing magazines and tidying furniture.
- Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and presentable.
- Assist with general cleaning tasks to maintain overall shop cleanliness.
- Report any maintenance issues or supply needs to management.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality for all scheduled shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to cleanliness.
