Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of live events? Live Nation Entertainment is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Event Stewards / Ushers in Barrie, Ontario. This is a fantastic entry-level position perfect for those seeking weekend work and looking to gain valuable experience in the vibrant world of entertainment. No prior experience is required – we provide all necessary training! You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all attendees at our various events.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Direct guests to their seats, facilities, and points of interest within the venue.
- Scan tickets and manage crowd flow at entry points and throughout the venue.
- Provide accurate information regarding event schedules, venue policies, and emergency procedures.
- Monitor assigned areas for safety hazards and maintain a tidy environment.
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve minor issues or escalate to management as needed.
- Assist with emergency evacuations and crowd control if required.
- Ensure compliance with all venue rules and regulations, including age restrictions and prohibited items.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and venue staff to ensure smooth event operations.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or guest-facing role (even if informal).
