Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Textile Warehouse Hand to join our team in Vacaville, CA. This role focuses specifically on the handling, organization, and preparation of clothing and fabric items within our state-of-the-art distribution center. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth flow of inventory, from receiving shipments to preparing orders for dispatch, all while maintaining the quality and integrity of our textile products. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, unload, and process incoming textile and clothing shipments, verifying quantities against manifests.
  • Inspect clothing and fabric items for quality, damage, or discrepancies upon arrival.
  • Sort and organize textile inventory into designated storage locations, ensuring proper categorization by style, size, and color.
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently, focusing on delicate handling of fabric goods.
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and responsibly (training provided if needed).
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including labeling, weighing, and staging for transport.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the textile storage and processing areas.
  • Assist with periodic inventory counts and stock reconciliations.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Required Skills

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Basic understanding of inventory procedures.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center, especially with textile or apparel products.
  • Experience with inventory management systems or RF scanners.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols in a warehouse setting.
