Job Description
Are you ready to power through your weekends with purpose? Amazon is seeking dedicated and energetic individuals to join our team as a Weekend Warehouse Warrior in Colorado Springs. This is an exciting opportunity for highly motivated individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are looking for stable weekend work with premium rates. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive their orders quickly and efficiently, contributing to the seamless flow of our extensive logistics network. Key Responsibilities
- Receive, store, and dispatch goods according to Amazon's operational procedures.
- Perform various warehouse activities such as picking, packing, sorting, and loading.
- Operate manual and powered material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, order pickers) after training, as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily productivity and quality targets.
- Identify and report any issues or discrepancies with inventory or equipment.
- Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet Amazon standards.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift up to 49 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Comfortable working in an environment that requires continuous movement and varying temperatures.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent attendance and reliability, especially for weekend shifts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or RF scanners.
- Experience operating powered industrial trucks (PIT) such as forklifts or reach trucks.
