Job Description
Fantastic Sams Hair Salons in Wesley Chapel is excited to offer a unique opportunity for aspiring cosmetology students. As a Cosmetology Student Trainee, you will gain invaluable hands-on experience, working alongside experienced stylists in a fast-paced and friendly salon environment. This multi-skilled role is designed to complement your ongoing cosmetology education, providing practical application of your studies, mentorship, and exposure to various aspects of salon operations. We are looking for an enthusiastic, student-friendly individual eager to learn and grow within the beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior stylists with various haircare services, including shampooing, conditioning, and treatment applications.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment, including sanitizing tools and workstations.
- Learn and practice new techniques under direct supervision, focusing on hair cutting, coloring, and styling.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction throughout their salon visit.
- Manage client appointments and contribute to daily salon operations.
- Actively participate in salon training sessions and educational programs.
- Prepare clients for services and assist with product recommendations.
Required Skills
- Currently enrolled in an accredited cosmetology program.
