Job Description
FedEx Freight is seeking a dedicated and organized Logistics Clerk with a strong focus on filing and administrative support to join our Pasco, Washington team. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics processes by meticulously managing documentation, supporting data entry, and providing essential administrative assistance. This position is perfect for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent organizational skills, and has a keen eye for detail. You will be a key player in maintaining accurate records and supporting the overall efficiency of our freight operations, contributing directly to the timely and accurate movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize physical and digital freight documents, including bills of lading, manifests, and delivery receipts.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry into various logistics and tracking systems.
- Assist with the preparation and processing of shipping and receiving paperwork.
- Maintain an organized filing system to ensure easy retrieval of critical information.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners regarding shipment statuses and documentation.
- Support administrative tasks such as answering phones, responding to emails, and managing office supplies.
- Verify information for accuracy and completeness, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
