Job Description
Are you a passionate music educator looking for a flexible opportunity to share your talents? Hamilton County Schools is seeking enthusiastic Substitute Music Teachers to join our team, starting immediately. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging music lessons to students from diverse backgrounds and grade levels, following established curriculum guidelines.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Supervise students in various settings, including classrooms, hallways, and during extracurricular activities.
- Communicate effectively with school administration, faculty, and support staff regarding student progress and classroom matters.
- Adapt to different school settings, student needs, and lesson plans on short notice.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all students under your supervision.
- Manage classroom materials and equipment responsibly.
- Adhere to all Hamilton County Schools policies and procedures.
- Provide feedback to regular teachers on student engagement and progress upon their return.

- Proficiency in a variety of musical instruments or vocal techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret musical scores.
