Job Description
Microsoft is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director / VP of Sales to lead our strategic sales initiatives in the Bellevue region. This pivotal role will be responsible for driving significant revenue growth, expanding market share, and building strong client relationships within a key industry segment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of enterprise software sales, a proven track record of exceeding sales targets, and the ability to inspire and lead high-performing sales teams. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to foster a high-performance culture.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, particularly with enterprise-level clients.
- Manage key client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, and engineering teams to align sales efforts with product roadmaps.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and business reviews to senior leadership.
- Negotiate and close complex sales agreements, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Represent Microsoft at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise software sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales quotas and driving significant revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies (Azure, Microsoft 365) and enterprise solutions.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Dynamics 365, Salesforce).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or MBA.
- Experience with global sales organizations and diverse markets.
- Demonstrated ability to drive digital transformation initiatives with clients.
