Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to start a career in the optical industry. As a Junior Optical Lab Technician, you will receive comprehensive training to learn the essential skills required for lens processing, cutting, edging, and quality control. You will work under the guidance of experienced technicians, contributing to the production of high-quality eyewear. Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and perform various optical lab processes, including lens inspection, blocking, surfacing, fining, polishing, and coating application, under supervision.
  • Operate and maintain specialized optical machinery and equipment.
  • Adhere to quality control standards and procedures to ensure precision and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Assist in the inventory management of optical components and supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following all safety protocols.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Continuously develop knowledge of optical products, materials, and technologies.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
