Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and passionate Part-time Charity Collectors to join our team in Dallas for weekend shifts. This role is crucial in engaging with the public to secure vital donations that fund our extensive community programs. If you are a motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a desire to make a real impact, this commission-based opportunity offers high earning potential while supporting a noble cause. You will be the face of The Salvation Army, inspiring generosity and informing the public about the critical work we do.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with members of the public in a friendly and professional manner.
- Clearly and passionately articulate The Salvation Army's mission, values, and the impact of donations.
- Inspire potential donors to contribute financially to our various programs and services.
- Represent The Salvation Army with integrity and enthusiasm at designated collection points.
- Handle donations and donor information with the utmost care and confidentiality.
- Work towards and achieve daily or weekly fundraising targets.
- Maintain a positive and respectful demeanor at all times.

- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
