Job Description

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our dynamic team in Tucson, AZ. The successful candidate will contribute to a variety of environmental projects, including site assessments, remediation design, regulatory compliance, and water resource management. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct environmental site investigations, assessments, and data analysis.
  • Develop and implement remediation strategies for contaminated sites.
  • Prepare technical reports, engineering designs, and regulatory permit applications.
  • Perform calculations and modeling for air quality, water quality, and waste management projects.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, ADEQ).
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
  • Participate in field activities, including sampling, monitoring, and site inspections.
  • Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and budget management.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering with an Environmental focus, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in environmental regulations and compliance (e.g., RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, CAA).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel for field assignments.
  • Eligibility to work in the USA (visa sponsorship may be available for qualified international applicants).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience with environmental modeling software (e.g., MODFLOW, AERMOD).
  • Prior internship or professional experience in environmental consulting or engineering.
  • OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour certification.
