Job Description
We are seeking a talented and dedicated Environmental Engineer to join our dynamic team in Tucson, AZ. The successful candidate will contribute to a variety of environmental projects, including site assessments, remediation design, regulatory compliance, and water resource management. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct environmental site investigations, assessments, and data analysis.
- Develop and implement remediation strategies for contaminated sites.
- Prepare technical reports, engineering designs, and regulatory permit applications.
- Perform calculations and modeling for air quality, water quality, and waste management projects.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations (e.g., EPA, ADEQ).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and regulatory agencies.
- Participate in field activities, including sampling, monitoring, and site inspections.
- Contribute to project planning, scheduling, and budget management.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering with an Environmental focus, or a related field.
- Proficiency in environmental regulations and compliance (e.g., RCRA, CERCLA, CWA, CAA).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel for field assignments.
- Eligibility to work in the USA (visa sponsorship may be available for qualified international applicants).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related discipline.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience with environmental modeling software (e.g., MODFLOW, AERMOD).
- Prior internship or professional experience in environmental consulting or engineering.
- OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour certification.
