Key Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned CVS Health pharmacy locations as scheduled, ensuring timely arrival and readiness.
- Accurately process and dispense prescriptions under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, receiving, stocking, and rotating medications.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and assisting with medication-related questions.
- Operate pharmacy systems and technology efficiently, maintaining accurate patient records.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Assist with insurance claims and resolve basic billing issues.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Required Skills
- Current Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA.
- Active state Pharmacy Technician license/registration in Florida (or ability to obtain).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail or hospital setting.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and team dynamics.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and pharmacy software systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CVS Health pharmacy systems (e.g., RxConnect).
- Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish) is a plus.
- Previous experience in a traveling or float technician role.
