Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute experiments for the synthesis and characterization of small molecules.
- Develop and validate analytical methods using techniques such as HPLC, GC, MS, NMR, and FTIR.
- Perform purification of compounds using various chromatographic techniques.
- Interpret and report analytical data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks and electronic records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including biologists, pharmacologists, and formulators.
- Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and scientific publications.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and good laboratory practices (GLP).
Required Skills
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
- Proven experience in organic synthesis and reaction mechanisms.
- Proficiency with analytical techniques: HPLC, GC, MS, NMR, FTIR.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postdoctoral experience in an industrial or academic setting.
- Experience with automated synthesis platforms.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical development (e.g., FDA, ICH).
- Knowledge of drug discovery and development processes.
