Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-time Terminal Cleaner to join our team, specifically for weekend shifts at a busy airport terminal serving the Aurora area. This role offers high pay for a critical service, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for travelers and airport staff. If you are detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and are available to work weekends, we encourage you to apply. This is an on-site position vital to the smooth operation of the airport.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming floors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
- Dust furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
- Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with airport patrons and staff.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 lbs, standing, bending, and reaching.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Reliable transportation to and from the airport terminal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial or airport cleaning.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass an airport security background check.
