Job Description
Are you an observant individual with a keen eye for detail and a love for toys? Target is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Toy Store Mystery Evaluators to help us ensure an exceptional shopping experience in our toy departments. This flexible, part-time, hybrid role is perfect for students looking to earn extra income while contributing to the quality of a major retail brand. As a Mystery Evaluator, you will covertly visit our stores in Winston-Salem, evaluate various aspects of the toy department, and provide constructive feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct unannounced visits to assigned Target toy departments within the Winston-Salem area.
- Evaluate customer service interactions, staff helpfulness, and product knowledge within the toy department.
- Assess store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising of toy displays.
- Verify product availability and accurate pricing for a selection of toy items.
- Provide comprehensive and objective written reports detailing your observations and experiences after each visit.
- Adhere strictly to evaluation guidelines and submission deadlines.
Required Skills
- Exceptional observational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently.
- Reliable internet access and basic computer proficiency for report submission.
- Discretion and ability to maintain a covert identity during evaluations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a retail environment (even as a customer with a critical eye!).
- A genuine interest in toys, games, and children's products.
- Enrollment in a college or university program.
- Access to reliable transportation to travel to various store locations within Winston-Salem.
