Job Description

As a Pharmacy Floor Coordinator with a focus on Warehouse & Logistics, you will be a critical part of our supply chain operation, ensuring the smooth flow of pharmaceutical products within our distribution center. This role involves overseeing inventory, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and maintaining a highly organized and compliant warehouse environment. You will work closely with various teams to uphold our standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency, playing a vital role in delivering essential medications to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of pharmaceutical products.
  • Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts and reconciliation processes.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (training provided if needed).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Facilitate communication between warehouse staff, pharmacy teams, and logistics partners to optimize workflow.
  • Prepare and review documentation related to inventory, shipping, and receiving.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Train new team members on warehouse procedures and best practices.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with pharmaceutical inventory or regulated products.
  • Certification in operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
  • Knowledge of DEA, FDA, and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
