Job Description
As a Pharmacy Floor Coordinator with a focus on Warehouse & Logistics, you will be a critical part of our supply chain operation, ensuring the smooth flow of pharmaceutical products within our distribution center. This role involves overseeing inventory, coordinating inbound and outbound shipments, and maintaining a highly organized and compliant warehouse environment. You will work closely with various teams to uphold our standards of accuracy, safety, and efficiency, playing a vital role in delivering essential medications to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of pharmaceutical products.
- Ensure accurate inventory management through regular cycle counts and reconciliation processes.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and potentially forklifts (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company policies and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate communication between warehouse staff, pharmacy teams, and logistics partners to optimize workflow.
- Prepare and review documentation related to inventory, shipping, and receiving.
- Troubleshoot and resolve logistical issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Train new team members on warehouse procedures and best practices.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer applications.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience with pharmaceutical inventory or regulated products.
- Certification in operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
- Knowledge of DEA, FDA, and other relevant regulatory guidelines.
