Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Facility Support Worker to join our team in Orem, UT. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall upkeep of our facility, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for patients, staff, and visitors. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals who take pride in their work and are committed to maintaining high standards of hygiene and order.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal across various areas of the facility.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, patient rooms, offices, and common areas in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
  • Organize and maintain supply closets and storage areas.
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to supervision promptly.
  • Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed, such as changing light bulbs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Support special event setups and breakdowns as required.

Required Skills

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning techniques and products.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting (up to 25 lbs), standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Reliable and punctual work ethic.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a custodial, housekeeping, or facility support role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of cleaning chemicals.
