Job Description
Join the Walmart team as a Student Fulfillment Hand in our e-commerce warehouse in Shawnee, Kansas. This part-time role is perfect for students looking to gain valuable work experience in a fast-paced retail environment while balancing their academic commitments. You will be instrumental in ensuring our customers receive their online orders accurately and on time, contributing to the seamless operation of our e-commerce fulfillment process. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack e-commerce orders according to company standards.
- Receive, sort, and store incoming inventory efficiently.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring proper handling of merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory counts and quality control checks as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks (training provided).
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily fulfillment goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Basic communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is a plus, but not required.
