Job Description
RBC is seeking a dedicated Remote Admin Specialist to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize digital files and documents efficiently and securely.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and virtual events, including sending invitations and managing RSVPs.
- Prepare, proofread, and format reports, presentations, and various correspondence.
- Assist with accurate data entry and maintain comprehensive records in internal systems.
- Handle incoming communications, including emails and calls, directing them to the appropriate channels and responding professionally when required.
- Support team members with a wide range of administrative tasks to ensure operational efficiency and project completion.
- Proactively identify and address administrative needs to enhance workflow and productivity.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative duties.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, professional home office space.
- Basic technical troubleshooting skills for common remote work tools and platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with virtual collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom).
- Familiarity with financial services operations or a similar regulated industry.
- Previous experience (even part-time or internship) in a remote work environment.
- A post-secondary diploma or certificate in administration, office management, or a related field.
