Job Description
Join our dedicated team at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust as an Entry Level Patient Mover. This vital role involves safely and efficiently transporting patients, equipment, and specimens within the hospital environment. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and respectfully transport patients via wheelchairs, trolleys, and beds to various departments (e.g., wards, clinics, operating theatres, diagnostic imaging).
- Assist patients with mobility as needed, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
- Move medical equipment, laboratory specimens, and supplies efficiently within the hospital.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical staff to coordinate transport.
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of transport equipment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols.
- Respond promptly to transport requests and prioritize tasks effectively.
