Job Description
As an Entry-Level Hospital Porter, you will embark on a rewarding career playing a crucial, non-clinical role in the seamless operation of our hospital. Key Responsibilities
- Safely and compassionately transport patients, often in wheelchairs or beds, between wards, departments, and treatment areas.
- Efficiently move medical equipment, laboratory samples, mail, and supplies throughout the hospital premises.
- Assist with the timely collection and delivery of clinical waste and soiled linen, adhering to all health and safety protocols.
- Ensure all corridors, waiting areas, and assigned zones are kept clean, tidy, and free of obstructions, supporting a safe environment.
- Respond promptly and professionally to requests from medical staff, ward teams, and other departments.
- Provide respectful and empathetic interaction with patients, their families, and visitors, upholding the hospital's values.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
