Job Description
This is a 100% remote role focused on accurately classifying and labeling a diverse range of financial documents. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accessibility of our financial data, supporting various internal and client-facing projects. This position requires keen attention to detail, a methodical approach, and a strong commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality, all from the comfort of your home office.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately review, classify, and label a variety of financial documents including invoices, statements, contracts, and reports.
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across all labeled documents in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
- Utilize internal software and proprietary tools efficiently for document processing, categorization, and metadata entry.
- Identify and promptly report discrepancies, anomalies, or missing information within financial documentation.
- Adhere strictly to all data security, confidentiality, and privacy protocols to protect sensitive financial information.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve complex labeling issues and improve workflows.
- Participate actively in ongoing training sessions and quality assurance processes to maintain and enhance high standards of work.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- High level of integrity and a proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6-12 months) in data entry, document processing, administrative support, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with financial terminology, document types, or basic accounting principles.
- Experience with document management systems (DMS) or enterprise content management (ECM) platforms.
- A basic understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
