Job Description
Are you a highly motivated and physically strong individual looking for an immediate opportunity with daily pay? 1-800-GOT-JUNK? is seeking dedicated Eviction Clean-Out Crew Members to join our dynamic team in Gravenhurst, ON. This demanding but rewarding role involves clearing properties efficiently and responsibly, often requiring heavy lifting and quick turnaround times. Key Responsibilities
- Perform full property clean-outs, removing all contents from residential and commercial properties.
- Safely lift, carry, and load heavy furniture, appliances, and other items onto company vehicles.
- Sort and categorize items for disposal, donation, or recycling in accordance with company policies and local regulations.
- Operate company vehicles safely and efficiently to transport items to appropriate disposal or donation sites (valid G-class driver's license often required).
- Ensure properties are left broom-clean and ready for the next phase of occupancy.
- Work collaboratively with team members to complete tasks quickly and effectively.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor when interacting with clients or property representatives.
Required Skills
- Ability to consistently lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) throughout the day.
- Excellent physical stamina and endurance.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
- Valid G-class driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines meticulously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in general labor, moving, junk removal, or property maintenance.
- Familiarity with proper lifting techniques and safety procedures.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
