Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our branch team in Kahului, Hawaii. As a Bank Teller, you will be the first point of contact for many of our valued customers, providing exceptional service and assisting with their banking needs. This is a vital role for individuals who are passionate about helping others and interested in a career in the financial industry. Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cashing checks.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services.
- Balance cash drawer daily and maintain proper cash levels.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and security for all customer information and transactions.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the branch as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service or cash handling role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a financial services environment.
- Knowledge of banking products and services.
- Fluency in Hawaiian or other Pacific Islander languages is a plus.
- Associate's degree or higher in business, finance, or a related field.
