Job Description
L&T Construction is seeking highly motivated and physically resilient individuals to join our team as Jackhammer Operators (Trainee). This entry-level position is ideal for those eager to learn specialized construction equipment operation and contribute to large-scale infrastructure projects. You will be trained in the safe and effective use of jackhammers for breaking concrete, asphalt, and rock, primarily on our dynamic construction sites. This role demands extreme physical labor, stamina, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and operate jackhammers safely and efficiently under direct supervision.
- Assist experienced operators with site preparation and equipment maintenance.
- Perform heavy physical tasks including lifting, carrying, digging, and clearing debris.
- Adhere strictly to all site safety protocols and company regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Work effectively as part of a construction crew to meet project deadlines.
Required Skills
- Exceptional physical strength and stamina for strenuous tasks.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and challenging outdoor environments.
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety (training will be provided).
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Must be at least 18 years old.

- Previous experience in physically demanding labor roles (e.g., manual labor, agriculture).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
