Job Description

Are you passionate about technology and helping others? Google is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Google Support Specialist to join our team. This is a 100% remote position, open to candidates across all states in the USA. You will be the first point of contact for users encountering technical issues, providing exceptional service and solutions for Google’s diverse range of products and platforms. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous technical support to Google users via various channels (email, chat, phone).
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to Google products and services (e.g., Gmail, Google Drive, Chrome, Android, Search).
  • Escalate complex issues to senior support teams or engineering as needed, ensuring detailed documentation.
  • Educate users on product features, best practices, and self-help resources.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and strive to exceed service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Contribute to the creation and improvement of support documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Stay up-to-date with new Google product releases, features, and policy changes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify trends, report bugs, and improve overall user experience.

Required Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues systematically and effectively.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS).
  • Experience with common web browsers and internet technologies.
  • Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time efficiently.
  • Proficiency in using help desk software and CRM systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Prior experience in a technical support, customer service, or help desk role.
  • Experience supporting Google products specifically.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks or similar service management methodologies.
  • Multilingual abilities (especially Spanish).
