Job Description
Are you meticulous, energetic, and take pride in your work? We’re looking for a dedicated Tire Shiner to join our team at Marshall Vauxhall Peterborough. Your primary role will be to ensure all vehicles on our forecourt and in the showroom have impeccably clean and polished tires, enhancing their visual appeal for potential buyers. This entry-level position is perfect for someone looking to start their career in the automotive industry, contributing directly to our sales success by making our inventory shine. Attention to detail and a strong work ethic are key to excelling in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare vehicle tires, wheels, and wheel wells to a high standard.
- Apply tire shine and protectants evenly to achieve a consistent, showroom-ready finish.
- Inspect vehicles for any tire-related imperfections before and after shining.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing bay and equipment.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and report needs to management.
- Assist with moving vehicles on the lot as needed, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Work efficiently to meet daily vehicle preparation targets.
- Collaborate with the detailing and sales teams to ensure vehicles are ready for display and customer viewing.
