Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and environmentally conscious Ecology Photo Tagger to join our Green IT Sustainability team in Louisville, KY. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately categorizing, tagging, and annotating a vast collection of ecological imagery. These images will support advanced AI and machine learning models aimed at improving environmental monitoring, resource management, and sustainable IT practices. Your work will directly contribute to our efforts in leveraging technology for ecological preservation and sustainability initiatives across various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately tag and categorize ecological photographs according to predefined guidelines and taxonomies.
- Apply detailed metadata to images, including location data, species identification, environmental conditions, and project-specific parameters.
- Perform quality control on tagged data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness.
- Collaborate with data scientists and environmental specialists to refine tagging protocols and improve data integrity.
- Identify and report any anomalies or issues within the image datasets.
- Contribute to the development of robust datasets for machine learning models focused on environmental analysis.
- Maintain high levels of productivity and data quality in a fast-paced environment.
