Job Description
Join the FedEx team as a Dock Associate and play a crucial role in our package handling and distribution operations. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals seeking a fast-paced and rewarding career in logistics. We are currently offering a $2,000 sign-on bonus for new team members who are committed to safety and efficiency. As a Dock Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning packages, ensuring timely and accurate delivery to our customers. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight efficiently and safely from trailers and containers.
- Sort packages manually or with the aid of material handling equipment.
- Scan packages accurately to ensure proper tracking and routing.
- Inspect packages for damage and report any discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Experience operating material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, pallet jack).
