Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our expanding home care team in Provo, Utah. This vital role involves providing direct patient care in a home setting, supporting individuals with their daily living activities, and ensuring their comfort and well-being. Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene.
- Provide support with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, ensuring patient safety.
- Help with light housekeeping duties directly related to the patient's immediate environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding, adhering to dietary restrictions.
- Administer medication reminders as directed by the care plan.
- Monitor and report changes in patient's condition or behavior to the supervising nurse.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive environment.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and observations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Required Skills
- Demonstrated compassion, empathy, and patience.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions accurately.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Physical stamina to assist patients with mobility and transfers.
- Basic understanding of health and safety principles.

Preferred Qualifications
- Current Home Health Aide (HHA) certification.
- Previous experience (at least 6 months) in home care, long-term care, or a similar healthcare setting.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
