Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join our team as a Hospital Porter. This is an entry-level, full-time position offering comprehensive training for those new to the healthcare sector. As a Hospital Porter, you will play a crucial role in the smooth operation of our hospital, ensuring patients, equipment, and vital supplies are moved safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport patients via wheelchairs, trolleys, and beds between wards, departments, and consultation rooms.
  • Assist with the movement of medical equipment, supplies, specimens, and patient records.
  • Respond promptly to requests from medical and nursing staff for transport and delivery services.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment, including cleaning and preparing transport equipment.
  • Communicate effectively and empathetically with patients, their families, and hospital staff.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Provide general assistance and support to various hospital departments as required.
