Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Part-time Records Clerk to join our administrative team for weekend shifts at our Fontana facility. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and accessibility of patient records and administrative documents. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate data entry, filing, retrieval, and ensuring the confidentiality of all information. This position offers an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organizational skills and attention to detail to contribute to a leading healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain physical and electronic records, ensuring accuracy and proper categorization.
- Perform data entry for new patient information, updates, and other administrative records into the system.
- Retrieve requested records promptly and efficiently for authorized personnel.
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and other data privacy policies.
- Assist with scanning, indexing, and archiving documents as needed.
- Organize and maintain filing systems, ensuring all documents are easily accessible.
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence related to records.
- Support other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
