Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team as Weekend Warriors. This unique role offers premium Saturday and Sunday rates, recognizing your commitment to patient care during critical weekend hours. As a Weekend Warrior RN, you will provide comprehensive nursing care, ensuring patient safety and well-being while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. This position is ideal for experienced nurses looking for consistent weekend work with enhanced compensation. You will be instrumental in maintaining the high standards of care our community expects, contributing to positive patient outcomes and a supportive hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care plans for assigned patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, accurately documenting all actions.
- Monitor patient vital signs, observe changes in condition, and report any significant findings to the medical team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions as needed.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Required Skills
- Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of acute care nursing experience.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and ethical practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.

- Experience in a similar weekend or premium pay role.
