AMC Theatres in Downtown Bakersfield is searching for enthusiastic and friendly teens to join our team as Movie Theater Hosts! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experience in a fun, fast-paced environment, all while enjoying amazing perks. As a host, you’ll be the welcoming face of our cinema, helping guests have an unforgettable visit and contributing to the smooth operation of our theater. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they enter the theater and direct them to their auditoriums.
- Assist guests with finding their seats and answer any general questions about showtimes or facilities.
- Help maintain cleanliness in the lobby, hallways, and auditoriums by picking up trash and tidying up.
- Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all moviegoers by promptly reporting any issues to management.
- Support the concession stand and box office teams during peak hours by assisting with simple tasks.
- Distribute and collect 3D glasses, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
- Be an ambassador for the AMC brand, always ready with a smile and a helpful attitude.
Required Skills
- Must be 14 years old and eligible to work in California (work permit required).
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Eagerness to learn and take on new tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
