Job Description
Isaac’s Restaurants is looking for enthusiastic and professional 15-year-old teens to join our team as a Hostess. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals eager to gain valuable customer service experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience with a warm welcome and efficient service. We are seeking individuals who are eager to learn, have a positive attitude, and are committed to delivering excellent guest service. This is an excellent opportunity to develop essential workplace skills, work flexible hours, and be part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant.
- Manage the waitlist and seating chart efficiently, estimating wait times accurately.
- Escort guests to their tables, present menus, and inform them of specials.
- Answer incoming phone calls, take reservations, and answer guest inquiries.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth guest flow and service.
- Support with light bussing duties or setting tables during peak hours as needed.
