Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented 18-year-olds to join our Department of Health Services as Administrative Assistants. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in public service and healthcare administration. You will provide crucial support to various departmental functions, helping ensure smooth operations and effective service delivery to the community. This role offers a chance to learn about public health, develop professional skills, and contribute to meaningful work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support, including data entry, filing, and organizing documents.
- Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages and managing correspondence.
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing calendars for department staff.
- Prepare basic reports, presentations, and other administrative documents.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Greet visitors and provide general information and direction.
- Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by supervisors.
Required Skills
