Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Twitter (X) Moderator to join our remote team. This role is crucial for maintaining Netflix’s brand presence, engaging with our audience, and tracking emerging trends on the X platform. You will be responsible for real-time monitoring, community interaction, and providing insights into social media conversations surrounding Netflix content and brand initiatives. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the specified region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor Twitter (X) in real-time for mentions of Netflix, its content, and relevant industry trends.
  • Engage with the Netflix community on X, responding to comments, questions, and feedback in a timely and on-brand manner.
  • Identify and escalate critical issues, negative sentiment, or potential crises to the appropriate internal teams.
  • Track emerging trends, hashtags, and viral content relevant to Netflix's content slate and marketing campaigns.
  • Provide regular reports on social media sentiment, engagement metrics, and trend analysis.
  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, and content teams to align social media strategies and messaging.
  • Help foster a positive and engaging online environment for Netflix fans.
  • Stay up-to-date with X platform features, best practices, and algorithm changes.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written communication skills in English.
  • Proven ability to understand and maintain a consistent brand voice.
  • Strong understanding of the Twitter (X) platform, including analytics and trend-spotting features.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills to interpret social media data and trends.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with social media monitoring tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in social media management or community moderation.
  • A deep passion for movies, TV shows, and entertainment content.
  • Familiarity with Netflix's content library and brand.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume social media environment.
