Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Ad Content Transcriber with a strong focus on marketing compliance to join our team in Downtown Augusta. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately transcribing various forms of advertising content, including audio and video, for our diverse range of clients and internal campaigns. A critical aspect of this position involves identifying and flagging content that may not adhere to industry regulations, internal guidelines, or legal requirements, ensuring all marketing materials are compliant and ethical.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe spoken word from audio and video advertising content into written text.
- Review transcribed content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and overall accuracy.
- Monitor and flag potential compliance issues within ad content, including but not limited to, misleading claims, inappropriate language, copyright infringements, or regulatory violations.
- Maintain a deep understanding of relevant advertising standards, industry guidelines, and company compliance policies.
- Collaborate with marketing, legal, and compliance teams to resolve identified issues and ensure content integrity.
- Organize and maintain transcribed files and associated documentation in a structured manner.
- Meet daily transcription quotas and maintain high levels of accuracy and quality.
- Provide constructive feedback on content creation processes to enhance compliance from inception.
Required Skills
- Exceptional listening skills and high typing speed with accuracy.
- Proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle nuances in language.
- Basic understanding of advertising principles and marketing ethics.
- Familiarity with various audio/video transcription software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in transcription, content moderation, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of legal or regulatory compliance frameworks relevant to advertising (e.g., FTC guidelines).
- Experience with content management systems or digital asset management.
- Associate’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field.
