Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented Afternoon Playtesters to join our team for specific 4pm to 8pm shifts. As a Playtester, you will be instrumental in evaluating the quality, playability, and overall user experience of our upcoming games. This is a crucial role where your feedback directly contributes to the refinement and success of our titles. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute assigned test plans and report bugs, glitches, and usability issues accurately and concisely.
  • Provide constructive feedback on game mechanics, balance, design, and overall player experience.
  • Document gameplay sessions, observations, and findings in detailed reports.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure clear communication of issues and suggestions.
  • Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines regarding unreleased game content.
  • Maintain consistent attendance for scheduled 4pm to 8pm afternoon shifts.

Required Skills

  • Strong passion for video games and familiarity with various genres and platforms.
  • Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in basic computer usage and bug reporting tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) is a plus.
  • Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Reliable and punctual for all scheduled shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in quality assurance or game testing (professional or amateur).
  • Familiarity with game development cycles and terminology.
  • Experience with competitive gaming or extensive gameplay in specific genres.
  • Relevant coursework or certifications in game design, QA, or related fields.
