Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and analytical Algorithmic Data Verifier to join our team in Calgary. In this critical role, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing, validating, and ensuring the accuracy of data outputs generated by complex algorithms and machine learning models. Your expertise will directly contribute to the reliability and integrity of our data-driven products and services. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively with large datasets.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough verification and validation of algorithmic data outputs against predefined accuracy metrics and ground truth datasets.
- Identify, document, and report data discrepancies, anomalies, and potential biases within algorithmic results.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and product managers to understand algorithmic logic and data flows.
- Develop and implement robust data verification protocols and quality assurance procedures.
- Provide constructive feedback to improve algorithm performance and data quality.
- Participate in the design and execution of A/B tests and other validation experiments.
- Maintain detailed records of verification activities and report on data accuracy trends.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in data analysis and validation techniques.
- Experience with SQL and database querying.
- Familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and scripting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
