Job Description

You’ll collaborate closely with senior developers, product managers, and UI/UX designers, gaining invaluable experience across the full software development lifecycle. We’re looking for someone with a foundational understanding of iOS development, a hunger to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the UK, provided you can participate effectively with our Nottingham-based teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy features for iOS applications under the guidance of senior developers.
- Participate in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback.
- Debug and resolve issues, ensuring high-quality, stable application performance.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into functional user interfaces.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Apple technologies, frameworks, and mobile development trends.
- Assist in the documentation of technical specifications and application functionalities.
Required Skills
- Foundational knowledge of Swift and Xcode.
- Understanding of iOS SDK, UI Lifecycle, and common design patterns (e.g., MVC, MVVM).
- Familiarity with Git version control.
- Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SwiftUI or UIKit.
- Understanding of agile methodologies.
