Job Description

Accenture is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Apple Network Support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. This role is crucial for providing expert field and remote technical support for Apple-centric network environments for our diverse client base. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of enterprise-level Apple infrastructure, including macOS devices, iOS devices, and their integration with corporate network services. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of Apple hardware and software, network protocols, security best practices, and excellent problem-solving abilities. This hybrid role involves both remote support from your home office and occasional travel to client sites within the region for on-site assistance and project work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced technical support for Apple devices (macOS, iOS) and associated network infrastructure to enterprise clients, both remotely and on-site.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex network connectivity issues, Wi-Fi, VPN, and directory service integration problems in Apple environments.
  • Deploy, configure, and manage Apple devices using Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (e.g., Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune).
  • Implement and maintain network security protocols and best practices relevant to Apple ecosystems.
  • Perform routine system maintenance, upgrades, and patch management for Apple devices and related network components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize Apple-based network solutions.
  • Document technical procedures, network configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for critical support issues.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in network support with a strong focus on Apple products.
  • Proficiency with macOS and iOS operating systems in an enterprise setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN).
  • Experience with MDM solutions (Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Workspace ONE) for Apple devices.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise Wi-Fi standards and troubleshooting (802.11, WPA2/3, RADIUS).
  • Familiarity with identity management systems (Active Directory, Azure AD) and their integration with Apple devices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT).
  • Relevant network certifications (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+).
  • Experience with scripting (Bash, Python) for automation in macOS environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their integration with enterprise networks.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
