Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented AR/VR Software Engineer to join our innovative Digital Solutions team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge augmented and virtual reality applications that transform our manufacturing processes, product design, training programs, and customer experiences. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement AR/VR applications for industrial use cases, including manufacturing visualization, digital twins, training simulations, and remote assistance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product design, manufacturing, IT) to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Optimize AR/VR applications for performance, scalability, and user experience across various platforms and devices (e.g., HoloLens, Varjo, Quest, mobile AR).
  • Integrate AR/VR solutions with existing enterprise systems and IoT data sources.
  • Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and quality assurance for AR/VR applications.
  • Stay abreast of the latest AR/VR technologies, trends, and best practices, and propose innovative solutions.
  • Document technical designs, development processes, and user guides for applications.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in C++ or C# programming languages.
  • Extensive experience with Unity3D or Unreal Engine for AR/VR development.
  • Familiarity with AR/VR SDKs such as ARCore, ARKit, OpenXR, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of 3D graphics, real-time rendering pipelines, and spatial computing concepts.
  • Experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Maya, SolidWorks) and optimizing assets for AR/VR.
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) for deploying AR/VR solutions.
  • Familiarity with computer vision libraries (e.g., OpenCV) and machine learning frameworks.
  • Previous experience in industrial, manufacturing, or automotive sectors.
  • Knowledge of human-computer interaction (HCI) principles for AR/VR.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
