Job Description
Join Brink’s as an Armored Car Driver and become a vital part of our high-security operations. We are looking for dedicated individuals who are committed to safety, security, and exceptional service. This role involves the secure transportation of valuables, including cash, precious metals, and other high-value assets. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you are fully equipped for all aspects of the job, from advanced driving techniques to security protocols and firearm proficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Operate an armored vehicle safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and company protocols.
- Transport valuables, including currency, precious metals, and other assets, between various locations.
- Adhere strictly to all security procedures and regulations to ensure the safety of cargo and personnel.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of all pickups and deliveries, ensuring proper documentation and chain of custody.
- Communicate effectively with team members, dispatch, and clients.
- Respond professionally and effectively to potential security threats or incidents.
- Handle firearms responsibly and maintain proficiency as required by company policy and state law (training provided).
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary security licenses and permits (company will assist with training).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy bags or packages (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and trustworthiness.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military.
- Experience in commercial driving or transportation.
- Prior firearm experience or permit.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
