Job Description

We are seeking a friendly, organized, and enthusiastic Barber Shop Host to be the first point of contact for our valued clients. This customer service role is crucial in setting the tone for an outstanding experience at The Gentleman’s Cut Barbershop. You will be responsible for warmly greeting clients, managing appointments, maintaining the front desk area, and ensuring the smooth flow of daily operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet all clients upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
  • Manage the appointment book, scheduling, rescheduling, and confirming client bookings efficiently.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about services and pricing.
  • Process payments accurately using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, waiting lounge, and retail display.
  • Assist barbers with client flow and ensure a comfortable waiting experience.
  • Offer refreshments to clients and maintain a welcoming ambiance.
  • Handle client feedback and resolve minor issues professionally and courteously.
  • Assist with retail product sales, providing basic product information to clients.
  • Support barbers and management with administrative tasks as needed.
