Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Part-time HR Coordinator with a strong focus on recruitment support to join our dynamic Human Resources team in Tucson. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our talent acquisition efforts, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for both candidates and hiring managers. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced corporate environment and contribute to attracting top talent.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the recruitment team with scheduling interviews, sending calendar invitations, and managing interview logistics.
- Administer pre-employment assessments and background checks, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Support candidate communication throughout the recruitment process, providing timely updates and answering inquiries.
- Maintain and update candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare offer letters and new hire paperwork, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Assist with onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing new hire packets and coordinating orientation schedules.
- Generate recruitment-related reports and data as needed to support HR analytics.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition Specialists on various projects.
- Perform general administrative duties for the HR department as required.
Required Skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Basic understanding of HR principles and practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience (e.g., internship, part-time role) in an HR or administrative support capacity.
- Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) such as Workday, Taleo, or similar platforms.
- Experience in a large, corporate, or defense industry environment.
