Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Bilingual Nurse (Spanish/English) to join our dynamic healthcare team in New Port Richey, Florida. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessments, medication administration, and treatment plans, adhering to HCA Florida Healthcare standards.
  • Effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking patients and their families, ensuring accurate understanding of medical information, procedures, and discharge instructions.
  • Act as a linguistic and cultural liaison between healthcare providers and patients to facilitate comprehensive care.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in both English and Spanish (as necessary for patient records and communication).
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate patients and families on health conditions, preventative care, and self-management strategies.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide critical care interventions as required.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical nursing practices.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Required Skills

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
  • Proficiency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
  • Certifications in specialized areas such as BLS, ACLS, PALS.
